Institutional Accreditation Program
Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) is an external evaluation method that enables the evaluation of quality assurance, education-training, research-development, social contribution and management system processes in higher education institutions within the scope of the “planning, implementation, control and taking precautions” cycle. Within the scope of IAP by THEQC; Decisions are made for full accreditation (for five years), conditional accreditation (for two years), and rejection of accreditation. A total of 53 (fifty-three) Universities have been evaluated in the last three years through the IAP process, which was first implemented in 2020. 18 (eighteen) Universities were entitled to receive full accreditation, and 35 (thirty-five) Universities were entitled to receive conditional accreditation. THEQC is available in our country until the end of 2027. It plans to complete the first evaluations of all state and foundation universities within the scope of IAP. In order for a University to be included in the IAP, it must first complete the Institutional External Evaluation Program and Monitoring Programs carried out by THEQC.
