CONCLUSION AND EVALUATION
Yaşar University is among the first foundation universities of İzmir and the Aegean Region and is a public institution that provides higher education services widely. In addition to the education and training activities it provides, it has established and is developing the necessary systems to ensure that the research services it provides are at a high level in terms of quality. Yaşar University Rector, as the academic supervisor, reports to the University Board of Trustees, which is the highest decision-making authority in administrative and financial matters. The senior management, consisting of the Rector, the Vice-Rectors and the Secretary General, is responsible for the executive against the Board of Trustees. Senior management is easily accessible and there are different channels through which academic and administrative staff can reach senior management. In-house structuring for the establishment and functionalization of the Quality Assurance system has been completed, and its implementation and strengthening is still under development. For this reason, the University administration has determined the necessary tools and targets for the emergence of concrete results. In this framework, it is planned that academic programs will go through independent authorized external evaluation/accreditation processes. As of the next academic year, the “Corporate External Evaluation” process, which is carried out under the coordination of the YÖK Quality Board, will be initiated and it is anticipated that this process will contribute to the overall quality assurance system of our university. Yasar University; With the participation of the Board of Trustees, academic and administrative managers, faculty members and staff, founding foundation, founding holding representatives, students, graduates and external stakeholders in five-year periods, the strengths of the institution that are open to improvement are also evaluated in Quality Assurance Education-Training, Research-Development and Management Systems.
