It aims to carry out quality assurance studies at the university in accordance with the University’s Strategic Plan and effectively. The Quality Commission carries out the following tasks in accordance with its purpose;
- To monitor and evaluate the activities of university units, , when necessary to make recommendations within the framework of quality assurance for the compliance of these activities with the strategic plan,
- To bring new quality systems and accreditations to the university to plan the necessary studies and to inform the stakeholders,
- To monitor the current quality systems and accreditations and to make suggestions when necessary,
- To plan the Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (IIER) studies and to form internal evaluation teams,
- To prepare the annual internal evaluation report containing the results of institutional evaluation and improvement studies and to present it to the University Senate,
- To make the necessary preparations for the institutional external evaluation program, to inform the internal and external stakeholders about the process,
- To support the activities during the external evaluation process,
- To inform the stakeholders and the public about the activities of the quality assurance system.
